Weekly Shoe Hotness

First of all, let me start off by saying I absolutely am not happy with Sole Society, Just Fabulous and Shoe Dazzle.  The cuties they have posted in my monthly closet are absolutely darling and I just don't have it in my budget to pick any of them up :(  But - here are some of the fancy finds that were in there - I figure I would share. ;)

Enjoy for me!

This week's shoe hotness - add a little growl power to your style - Discountwomensdressshoes.com

Everyone knows I love me some leopard print and shoes are no exception.  Besides jewelry and a handbag - shoes are what really makes a look polished and put together... and a little pop of print or color in any basic outfit is icing on the cupcake. ;)

This week's shoe hotness hails from one of my favorite sites - Discount Women's Dress Shoes.  Now don't get the store title twisted, this awesome online store also sells handbags, other accessories and even clothing.  Their prices are absolutely rocking and very affordable and they have a huge selection of footwear for every shoe size you can think of.

This beautiful looker is called the Leopard Mary Jane Platform in Nikki 15 Brown.  It is absolutely beautiful and sports a 5.25" stiletto style heel and a 1" platform.  Super hot, super sexy and the perfect accessory for a pop of gorgeousness to any outfit.  As if all of that wasn't enough - it only costs $17.99.

Like I mentioned earlier, Discountwomensdressshoes.com offers a variety of styles which includes boots, platforms, wedges and even flats.  What I love the most about this site is that it is so affordable and they offer Free Shipping to all US Customers that spend $60 or more... BONUS! ;)  They offer secure shopping and check out which is a plus when shopping online and the hottest styles in the industry can be found on their site.

So - if you are interested in snagging up a pair of these hot babies... well get going and make your way to discountwomensdressshoes.com to get your shoe hotness fix. ;)  I promise you, you will not be sorry.

This Week's Shoe Hotness...

We all know how much I love shoes... which is why there is a whole segment about them on my blog. lol  But I especially love boots.  I always tell my hubby that I was just made to live in a colder climate - to me Hawaii is so laid back... that you can't really dress up and utilize all this beautiful footwear without looking like an odd ball.  However, that surely doesn't stop me... I LOVE SHOES & I LOVE BOOTS!

I recently came across a site that I am completely in love with.  The styles are so trendy and the prices are affordable.  When you are someone like me, who has a shoe fetish, discounted shoes are definitely a must.

This weeks Shoe Hotness comes from a site called:  Discount Women's Dress Shoes or DWD Shoes.  Because my calves are over the normal size limit for most boots - sporting my love for thigh highs are usually not an option (if you happen to know where I can find a wide calf boot - hollah at your girl).  However, that doesn't mean that I can't accessorize with a beautiful calf height boot or slouchy pair.

These awesome boots are just $23.99 on DWD Shoes and that is a steal for a pair that you know is just Fabulous.  I don't own a pair of nude boots yet, not this style anyway - so I am really looking forward to getting a pair for myself really soon.  Every girl needs a great pair of boots in her shoe collection and though a black pair is a staple - a good nude pair is awesome.  Pair this with a beautiful floral dress or a cute romper.  Better yet, casual it up with a pair of jeans and hit the road. ;)

I hope you enjoyed this week's shoe hotness.  Stay tuned next week for more. ;)

Love/Hate - My need for shoes...

Alright... I know, I seriously have a problem. I love shoes... yes, admit it. Commit me to Shoes Anonymous if you must, but my need, want and addiction to them is not going to change. lol

I think I posted this pair of boots a few months ago... it is still definitely on my HOT list and would love to have them. The problem is... I have huge calves... and getting certain boots that don't have a wide or stretchy diameter is probably my biggest downfall. Ugh... it drives me insane.

Seriously, why don't shoe designers include larger styles for the plus sized diva? Just because we are big doesn't necessarily mean we don't want to rock a pair of thigh highs... hell, I would probably use them all day every day if I could. I am so amazed at the fact that no matter how much progress we make in this world with regards to stereotypes and what is the "ideal woman" we still manage to take several steps back.

So - if there are any designers out there that are looking to expand their horizon and start making some really interesting threads... take my advice and start incorporating some plus sized fashions in your collection. Statistics show that there are more plus sized gals in the world then there are skinny ones. Do you know that if you are over a size 6 you are technically considered plus sized? And, if you are a designer that is looking into designing anything plus sized and you need a model or a tester - whoop whoop... I'm here, hollah at your girl. ;)

So - shoe designers... hows about making these style of boots in a wider diameter so it will fit over my damn calves. lol

What is your shoe complaints?

Shoe hotness of the week...

Now, I'm sure you all know that I LOVE leopard print. I think it is such a statement print and will add a pop and punch to any color. And, I have certainly been leaning towards other prints as well, snake skin, crocs/alligator... anything along those lines. I logged in to my Shoedazzle this morning when I stumbled upon a new addition. I couldn't take my eyes off it... I thought to myself, hmmm... shall I break out in my rendition of Coco's "I Love My Shoes" right about now? But, I saved myself the embarrassment and my sons the bad vocals. lol I wish I could have gotten a better photo to showcase these beauties... but I haven't been able to find a better one so this will have to do. Needless to say, I will have to add this to my collection soon, really soon! ;)

These beauties... pictured above, are from gojane.com. I love this site... I have been shopping from here for years and they never cease to amaze me. Their prices are absolutely doable and shipping is fast... especially to Hawaii. I NEED this!!! hehe! Isn't she gorgeous?

Yes, I will admit I have a really bad fascination with Shoes... who wouldn't? Besides handbags, they are a girl's best friend. lol

Hope you like this weeks Shoe hotness!

Sandals & Shoes... oh my!

Though I purchased each one of these at different times and from different locations...  I decided that it would be a good idea to put these all in the same post.

I had the opportunity this month to utilize my Shoe Dazzle & Sole Society accounts and purchase some pretty awesome footwear.

This pair of Sandals are called Bridgette and was personally selected for me by Kim Kardashian (so they say) and Shoedazzle.com I have been a member of Shoe Dazzle for quite some time now, but I have been skipping each month and not ordering because the styles have not suited me properly.  This month - after receiving my email from Shoe Dazzle with my monthly selection... I found a sandal that I felt I could not live without.  I blogged about them and displayed a picture from the site a few weeks ago... and am ecstatic that they are finally here.

Then, I had the opportunity to get me the Yvette's from my Sole Society monthly selection.  I was attracted to these wedges because the Fashion Stylist that chose them for me said that she put a lot of mileage on hers... and it was quite comfortable... so naturally - with my bum ankles - I thought this would be the perfect fit for me.  What do you think?

Now - those that have been following me for a while, know that I haven't really bought a pair of sandals or shoes... in quite some time - so I totally splurged.  The booties below was a hot steal because I purchased them at Payless Shoe Store at a BOGO sale.  I was at the store buying flip flops for my eldest son... when I was approached by the sales associate that explained to me that they had a BOGO sale going on.  Goodness gracious... was I in trouble. :)  If I had my way - I would have left the store with 8 pairs of sandals, all for me... hehe!  I was got these cute peep toe, lace up booties for just under $40.00 and got my sons Flip flops for half off... so it worked out pretty nice.  I wore them and they surely are comfortable on the feet... and I actually went grocery shopping with them (after a day out with the girls) and my feet were just a little fatigued... but not enough to notice it. :)

Now - of course... I was totally happy with this months sandal, bootie and wedge purchase... but when I shopped at Costco yesterday... I stumbled upon the end cap that had these Sketcher's Shape Ups.  I have been wanting them for a while now... but they are difficult to come by at a reasonable price.  I have seen them in my favorite shoe stores for over $100.00 - and to me, that just was not doable.  They were under $50.00 at Costco and came with a Healthy Eating Guide and Exercise DVD.  What a deal. :)

Needless to say - I will probably be on a Shoe/Sandal fast for a few months... so my pocket book can replenish itself. :) hehe!  But, I am so happy to be building my shoe and sandal collection again.  I plan to be putting a lot of mileage on these babies. :) hehe!

All the items/products blogged about and shown above were purchased by me with my own money.  I am not being paid or compensated in any way for doing this post.  Shoedazzle.com and Solesociety.com do award me for anyone that signs up and activates their membership.  These awards are in the form of credits.

{QOTD} - Question of the Day, What is your favorite clothing accessory?

This is such a great question... because it is so difficult to answer.  I love jewelry... what girl doesn't?  Though I have more than my fair share of it... it is not my favorite accessory to wear.  When the weather and every day duties permits... my favorite accessories are purses/handbags and footwear (shoes, flipflops "slippahs", sandals and my favorite... boots).

The bag I'm sporting right now is this Hello Kitty Quilted Face Bag.
You can purchase this and other awesome Hello Kitty bags at Bag Haus.
This image is from the Baghaus site.

If you know anything about me... you surely know how much I love to buy handbags & purses... and have more than enough in my ever growing collection.  No - I am not bragging... I'm simply telling you the truth - I am a purse hoarder... hehe!  I am a big fan of Bag Haus - not only because their prices are affordable... but because they have fashionable and trendy purses and handbags in a plethora of sizes, styles and colors.  I am also a huge fan of Coach and have been sporting their bags for over 10 years.  I can't help but admit that they are probably one of my favorite brands... and a pocket book weakness of mine.  However, I will also tell you that I do not discriminate against ANY bag. :) hehe!

I love  Sandals & Boots... and peep toe booties. :)
These pictured above are stylish and can be sported with your Glamour dress or
a pair of denim dark wash skinny jeans.  I have just ordered the sandal on the left
(which was recommended specifically for me by Kim Kardashian, thanks to Shoe Dazzle
and I will post pictures when they come in.

Though running after my 3 kids and doing errands and dealing with the hot weather in Hawaii makes it almost difficult to wear anything but running shoes or flip flops (called slippahs, in Hawaii) - I LOVE any type of footwear... especially sandals & boots.  I used to have quite a big collection at one time which included Steve Madden (one of my favs) - but after I was laid off from my corporate job... I rarely used them... and either gave them away or sold them.  I am slowly building my collection of these gorgeous beauties once again... and hope to be sporting all my favs in the near future.

Accessories for your favorite outfit go way beyond jewelry or a pair of earrings...  though I do not "hate" on any of those items. :)  Purses & Footwear are a girl's best friend... next to diamonds of course.  You can easily take a simple (everyday) type of outfit and turn it into a Runway ready fashion... just by adding a few accessories.  Every girl needs a sexy stiletto sandal and a hot pair of boots to Glam-up their wardrobe, and no look is complete without a trendy and fashionable handbag. :)

Companies/brands mentioned above are not paying me to do this post.  The pictures above are of items that I have purchased with my own money.  I am an affiliate of Baghaus.com and currently am a ShoeDazzle customer.
