FOTD - Bright and Bold Pinks & Purples...

This was my FOTD yesterday. I wanted to do something bright and bold and also wanted to utilize the makeup from our newly released: "A Child at Heart" Collection.  I took these photos with my Video Camera and was amazed at how much they were able to catch the vibrancy in the shadows... because this look was a really bright and bold look.  It is not norm to wear this around Hawaii all the time, so trust me, people did stop and look.  But - I also got some really sweet comments too ;)

Products Used:

On my eyes today
I-Candy Couture Pigments in: Only in my dreams, New Moon, Colors of the Wind,
Floating Lights and Cupcake Sprinkles.

Eyeliner: Black Out Gel Eye liner Duo from ICC
Primer:  I-Candy Fix Eye Primer

On my lips: Pink Frosting lipstick and Cocoa-Nut lipgloss.

All products used can be found on http://www.i-candycouture.com

I don't do these kind of looks often - but I thought it was fun and sexy... and flirty too ;)

Bedroom Eyes - Soft, Sexy and Sultry... FOTD

I did this makeup look yesterday (02/13/12).  I filmed a tutorial on it as well, but I didn't have the chance to edit it - so as soon as I do - I'll link it below when it uploads to YT.  I wanted to do a full series of looks for Valentine's Day - but ICC has been so busy - it was near to impossible to get it done.  I'm glad I was able to do at least one the other day (which I will be posting here too).  This is definitely a wearable and soft look and you can easily recreate it with any drug store brand... my favorite would be Wet n Wild - I believe the Knock on Wood trio would work awesome.  But, I love our ICC Pigments, I guess you could say I'm biased, since I make them myself. lol

Products used:

Eyes:
Primer:  I-Candy Fix, Primer
Eyeliner:  Black Out Duo Gel Eyeliner
Mascara:  Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara and Double Trouble Mascara by Lashem
Eye shadow:  I-Candy Couture Pigments in Roselani, New Moon and Peaches and Creme and a little bit of Colors of the Wind just for a little highlight in the tear duct area.

Lips:
I-Candy Couture - Pink Frosting Lipstick

Earrings:  I-Candy Couture's Twisted Woven Hoops from the Valentine's Day Love Collection

It was a simple look to recreate and I really think the tutorial will be easy to follow.  As soon as I have a chance to edit it - I will make sure to add it here. ;) Hope you liked this look.

LOTD - Christmas Gift Shopping, simple makeup

Simple LOTD (12/22/11) -
sporting a simple black woven beenie from Forever 21 (purchased a few years ago),
Black & Gray woven Hoops made by me and sold at I-Candy Couture
a simple v-neck heather gray shirt from Old Navy and Black drawstring shorts from Torrid (not pictured).

FOTD:  Decided to do it simple today .
I am just using  Mascara by Lashem and
Clear Lip gloss by I-Candy Couture (not yet released).
No Foundation, just moisturizer.

It was my only day to do Christmas Shopping - with all the craziness of the month.  So I decided that it would be better to be simple so that I could easily run around and not worry about my makeup through the day.  Needless to say - we got a lot of things accomplished yesterday.

I always love the Holiday Season - this year has been a bit of a challenge, emotionally more than anything... but I digress and move forward. I cannot wait till the New Year, new goals, new start.

Last week's FOTD - using I-Candy Couture Mineral Eye Shadow Pigments

I know I have been MIA lately on my blog - with the launch of the Eye Candy Collection from ICC, things have been a bit crazy.  Our Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales were so super duper stellar...  I am so amazed at how popular all of our Eye Shadow Pigments were and how much we sold.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make that a huge success.  We just released these products and there are no reviews on it yet... that it was just so awesome to see the support of our clients and customers.  Thank you all.

Here are a few FOTD's featuring ICC's Mineral Eye shadow Pigments and a few Jewelry Candy Too. ;) I apologize if I may have already blogged about a few of these, things are so busy - I don't even know what day it is. ;)

This look features ICC's Twilight Saga Collection.  The colors used were:

Eclipse - on the lid
New Moon - in the Crease

These FOTD's feature pigments from our permanent Eye Candy Line
as well as one from the Winterwonderland Sweets Collection.

Roselani - on the lid
Ice Queen - in the crease
Candycane (Winterwonderland Sweets) - as a highlight

This FOTD features colors from the Winterwonderland Sweets Collection.
This collection is Limited Edition at this time -
I will let you know if it becomes a part of our permanent collection.

Sugar plum - on the lid and lower lash line
Caramel Apple - in the crease
Candycane - just a little bit of this white shimmer color as a highlight...

Hope you guys enjoyed these FOTD's.  Any earrings pictured (besides my diamond studs in one photo) was done by me and can be found on http://www.i-candycouture.com.  While you are there... check out our Eye Candy Collections and pick out some beautiful colors for your beautiful peepers. ;)

The Launch of Eye Candy - a part of I-Candy Couture.

I know I have completely been failing in the blog department lately... trust me, I am very disappointed in myself. ;)  It's been so busy for me lately... with Holidays upon us - I have been busy with new Jewelry and Accessory Items on I-Candy Couture and just launched the new Eye Candy Section of I-Candy Couture.  I am so excited... I am making all of my passions come true.  Now - not only can you find Accessories for your every day fashions on my site... you can also find Mineral Eyeshadow Pigments formulated and created by me. ;) I'm so excited.

Yesterday, I launched the Winter Wonderland Sweets Collection - a collection of 6 eyeshadow pigments that are named after my favorite holiday sweet treats.  The goal for this collection was to create colors that are perfect for Winter and that are most coveted over during these chilly months.  I wanted to include darker colors that were still very wearable any day - but also can be intensified if worn wet or with a base that will make them pop.

This is going to be a FOTD post too - lol... today I am wearing 3 of my pigments and decided I wanted to have colors that would make my eyes pop... but not be too bold that I would stop traffic.  That is the beautiful thing about pigments... use them dry for soft hues and shades or wet for a dramatic look.

Here's what I'm using:

Primer - Two Faced Shadow Insurance
Base - NYX Shadow Base in Skin tone
Eyeshadows:  Sugar Plum and Caramel Apple by I-Candy Couture.
Eyeliner - Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Zero
Mascara - Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara
Lips - NYX Matte Lipstick in Tea Rose & 24K Pink Lip Gloss
by I-Candy Couture (not yet available on the site)

Hope you all love the new products that are coming out and the FOTD ;)
I can't wait to show you what other products we have in store. ;)

OOTD and FOTD - Denim & Leopard 10/22/11

I dressed in this outfit the other day along with this makeup look - but I have been so swamped, I forgot to post it.  So - here it is:

Makeup - for this day's makeup - I used my inglot palette and a mix of purple and silver with a little bit of black from my Blue Had me at Hello Wet N Wild Palette.

For my eyeliner - I am using just a plain black liquid liner and a purple pencil liner on my bottom lash line.

On my lips - I am using a combination of colors - including Tea Rose Matte lipstick by NYX.
I filmed a tutorial on this look and hope to have it edited soon ;)

For my outfit on this day - I wanted to have a little hip hop flare but still look dressy and classy enough to go to a party.  I'm wearing a jumper from Apple bottoms, peep toe booties from Payless and the bag I am sporting is my Tereasa Shell - a leopard print shell for my Miche Prima Bag.

The earrings are woven / twisted hoop earrings from I-Candy Couture.

We all went out as a family on this day - we were attending a birthday party so it was a casual but dressy affair.  I was pretty excited to wear this jumper because it is so warm in Hawaii that you literally have to wait till Fall/Winter season to wear anything that is this thick.  Though it is very comfortable... it is a pretty heavy weight jumper.  You can certainly dress it up with more jewelry and accessories - but I tried to keep it as simple as possible.  I though the look came together nicely and simply... but definitely turned heads ;0

What I particularly love about this jumper is the darkness of the wash.  It fits my skin tone perfectly and is just awesome for my built.  Even if I am a big girl - this doesn't add to my weight like most denim jumpers would.  Apple bottoms definitely knows how to rock it out! ;)

Hope you liked this OOTD & FOTD.  I know it's been a while since I have done these, but I will be trying to do them a lot more often. ;)

Faces of the Week

This past week I had several faces that I have been rocking... Some where looks that I used to get ready for Halloween and one is from a look on which I did a really simply and wearable smokey look using my UD Naked Palette.  What do you think?

Creepy goth/vampire look - I filmed a tutorial but can't seem to find it - so I think it still needs to be edited ;)

When I think of Halloween - I think of purple & orange.  I filmed a tutorial on this look and you can watch it here:  http://youtu.be/Sf0ptus6SBg?hd=1

the photo above also features the same look as the one below.  But the one below has special effects editing to make it a little creepy - perfect for Halloween ;)

The "blue lip" look was done to bring out the beautiful "Sky" blue lipstick from Secretkisseslipstick.com.  I am also using my Inglot shadows on my eyes.

The look pictured below was done with the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
I did film a tutorial and it should be uploaded in the next day or so. ;)

I hope you liked my faces of the week.  I had a lot of fun creating them last week.  Stay tuned - Halloween is just around the corner and hopefully I can get many more out this week.

FOTD - Face of the Day, a purple kind of day

I really rushed to put my makeup on this morning... because I had so many appointments and errands to run that spending time on my makeup was not really an option.  I decided to go with a purple look.

I used my Inglot Quad (a matte purple & a shimmer one - sorry I don't know what numbers they are) and in the crease and outer "v" I used the matte black from my Wet n Wild Blue Had me at Hello Palette.  It seems as if I have been using those more than usual lately.  On my lashes I have my Rimmel London Lash Accelerator and my liner is a combination of my Urban Decay 24/7 Liner and ELF Liquid Liner.  On my lips I am wearing MAC's Rambling Rose with MAC's Viva Glam VI Lipglass for a little shine.  Hope you liked this face of the day ;)

FOTD - Just a little smokey

I didn't really do my makeup this week because I didn't go out very much.  But I was able to do my makeup on one day before I headed out the door.

I used a combination of my Wet n Wild 6 Pan Vanity Palette and the black from my Blue Had me at Hello Palette.  On my lips are a pretty pink color from Rimmel London called Pink Blush and MAC's Viva Glam VI Lipglass on top.  For my eyeliner I am using ELF's Liquid Eyeliner and for my lashes, I am using my Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara.

I have on my Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation as well as my Revlon Photoready Foundation pressed powder to set it...  and as my spot concealer - I used my colorstay liquid foundation with a concealer brush to cover my problems... and there were quit a bit. lol

I know I have to really tweeze my eyebrows, I have been so lazy to do so - but I better get with it... I don't need no graucho marks action going on. lol

So here is my look. I hope to be posting more this upcoming week. :)

thanks for stopping by.
